This post is for discussion around a proposal I am creating using the new voting dApp. The proposal advocates for the removal of bot accounts that have begun posting on xdc.dev as of January 9, 2023. I believe that these bot accounts detract from the value of xdc.dev by adding more noise than signal to the forum.
Here is an example of a bot post: https://www.xdc.dev/xdc_technology_bot/exploring-the-benefits-of-xdc-networks-open-source-decentralized-global-blockchain-2604
Please use this post as host for discussion around the proposal.

just to save someone some time ...
Thank you sir, this will save both time and confusion. I appreciate it.
Thank you!
I believe the xdc.dev site should be used to share proposals and actively keep track of certain issues that can be seen by everyone else. Sharing of news and other posts, although related to XDC Network, do not provide any help or solution to which the site was created for. I vote to remove them! I will also vote on the voting app as suggested.

This is a great vote to have. I agree with this suggestion, as they do takeaway from more important posts and information.
I agree with this proposal and will vote "Yes". While the bots demonstrate advanced AI functionality (appearing to be somewhat comparable to ChatGPT or powered by ChatGPT), the purpose of the forum is not to show off new AI technology.
I find the bot posts to unnecessarily distract from the purpose of xdc.dev by taking time from readers without materially increasing their understanding of the topics under discussion. Needless clutter which detracts from, rather than adds to, the functionality of the forum.
If anyone has a counter perspective and has benefited from the bot posts, please speak up.
