I have been using the XinFin Web Wallet with a 12 word mnemonic seed phrase and my password to access by XDC tokens, but now the same entries bring up an incorrect wallet number.
I have used Google and ChatGPT for answers, and so far I have tried accessing my wallet via DXC Pay (but get the wrong wallet), CAN'T use MyEtherWallet because I'm in the UK, tried Infinity Wallet by UltraNote but it crashed, Tried Rabby Wallet but it also has the same derivation path issues and can't find my old wallet. I tried MyCrypto Desktop, but again it showed me an incorrect wallet address.
I also scrolled down 500+ address options whilst in the XinFin Web Wallet to see if my own wallet was further down the list but with no luck.
Can anyone suggest a way to successfully access my correct address using my mnemonic phrase without it constantly bringing up a different empty address?
How can i get my seed phrase to bring up the address where my XDC tokens are stored?

You can change the derivation path on wallet.xinfin.network. Please do that and see if it resolves your issue.
How do you change the derivation path on wallet.xinfin.network? I'm having the same issue. I can see my XDC amounts on the XDC Scan, but when I open the wallet it does not have my address. Please advise.
I have changed the derivation path from XDC Network m/44'/550'/0'/0 to XDC Network 2 m/44'/60'/0'/0 but my XDC wallet containing my XDC tokens is still not being shown. Can you suggest anything else that might bring up the correct wallet? (Thanks)
If you still don't see your wallet address on top of the list even after switching to XDC Network 2 then you must be entering a different password than the one you used to create the wallet.
Hi Sean, No, I'm not, because I have accessed this wallet dozens of times using the mnemonic phrase and it worked every single time. I have seen 3 or 4 other people on this chat who have had the same issue, where XinFin has made a change to the infrastructure in the background and now we can't get access to our wallets. How do I escalate this into a formal complaint? This isn't a 'me' error, it's a 'XinFin' error that needs to be corrected. If they won't correct the mis-match of the derivation path then technically they've stolen 34,000 tokens from me that I will never get access to. What is the next step? thank you.
There is no issue with the derivation path. Xinfin wallet uses two derivation paths and both are available and can be interchanged while accessing wallet. I have two different wallets with two different derivation paths and I can access them perfectly fine.
OK, great. Going back to my previous note, what has been changed in the last 6 months that may have caused my previously visible wallet to have suddenly become invisible to me? Also, does XDC have a complaints department for this to be escalated?
