I have had a d'cent hardware wallet for my xdc for quite some time now. however I haven't used it yet. the main reason is that d'cent is a central party and what if they stop supporting their services. if, for example, their app will no longer be maintained, etc..
I wonder if I will still be able to access my xdc in 6 years' time. if, for example, no more hardware wallets are sold or the iOS version is to old en need an update (what probably not possible is because that the app is moved from App Store).
I only have the 24 words by startup D’CENT wallet. my question to you is: is there a way to get to my funds without d'cent hardware wallet, but with 24 words. Does anyone have experience with this and maybe some kind of work instruction.

As Decent is a decentralised wallet you will have the mnemonic phrase of your wallet address. And if decent wallet stops all their services and you are not able to access your wallet. So no need to worry about that as decent wallet supports BIP-39 standard format so at that time you can login with your decent mnemonic phrase on any BIP 39 standard supported wallet like ledger or trezor and recover your XDC token
With the seed word, you can recover any wallet regardless of the hard wallet service.
So you don't have to worry about that

Did you create an xdc address from that wallet?
Alternatively, the seed word may be incorrect.
Try with another wallet such as a metamask and add xdc network

Thank you all. I managed to use the 24 words of the D'CENT wallet to restore my funds without using D'CENT. Through wallet.xinfin.network/#/ and other platforms as well.
I imported my mnemonics from Dcent to xinfin web wallet but not succeed and don't access to my wallet!
