Hi Mitali, Unfortunately, the issue hasn't resolved till now. My balance is still stuck on the blockchain. Even though i used the same secret phrase that I used many times to backup and restore my tokens didn't worked with the new Metamask wallet. It gave me a totally new Send/Receive address which doesn't match with my original blockchain address. I can't even go back and install my old chrome xdcpay wallet extention as it says that it's not compatible anymore. This is alarming as many of us are locked out of our funds now by this update to metamask wallet. There is no support and i can't get my token out as well.
I am having an issue with my xdcpay wallet not connecting to the network. It lets me log in and shows my wallet name but never my account balance. I'd like to send my tokens to my primary wallet for long term storage. There is 100k tokens in there so this is very concerning. Any ideas?
I installed another xdcpay extenstion from chrome webstore back then and it connected to a new network which showed my tokens but later when i moved to Windows 11 and forgot to backup my extentions then i got locked out with my funds. And now xdcpay is integrated into meta mask which gives you a totally different wallet address starting with 0x.... instead of xdc.... as per the old xdcpay wallet.
Yes, I noticed this when I tried to recover my wallet using metamask. It is very unfortunate to have over 100k tokens stuck like this. There has to be a fix. I tried recovering my wallet using the newest xdcpay extension as well and the wallet address was also different. This is the only time i've had this problem in 15yrs of being in crypto.
