Does anyone know if this has something to do with permissions of chaindata, or ownership? Or maybe something else? Please help since it will take about a week to sync all the blocks.

When I download the snapshot and start the masternode it won't connect to network and download blocks

No, could not get it to work. I tried changing permissions all the way through, but still when I extracted the archive chaindata I could not get it to work. I let the chaindata sync up manually was the only way I could get it to work. It took a really long time, I think close to a month.
If anyone knows a good guide to get the tar chaindata working, please share it here.
I already started syncing the node from several days ago. Don't want to stop and try again. Wasted too much time trying to get the tar working. Has anyone got the tar to work? I used the one from xdc.dev/call2hrishi/download-secur...
