[Hackathon] Briefcase (Dimo-hack-VIT)

What is Briefcase?

Securely exchange sensitive information and documents via our Web 3.0 platform, employing the Arnold Cat Map algorithm for encryption and IPFS node pointing strategy for decentralized storage, ensuring confidentiality and integrity throughout the process..

Why we have used XDC Network?

Our application is quite transaction intensive. From the options available, XDC looked quite viable for our application's needs. That is, the XDC has better transaction throughput and very low transaction fee compared to the other options available. We also realised XDC being a layer1 solution showed some layer2 characteristics which was very much desired.

How is our Platform different from other platforms?

Briefcase is a decentralised platform which eliminates the risks associated with centralised storage systems providing a robust and resilient solution for medical file or dicom file management. Tamper free authentication and files are stored or exchanged only after encryption proving to be highly secure.

The problem Briefcase solves:

Briefcase addresses the pressing need for secure and efficient exchange and storage of medical files in today's digital healthcare landscape. Traditional methods of file management often lack the necessary security measures to protect sensitive medical data from breaches and tampering. Briefcase offers a solution by leveraging blockchain and encryption technology to ensure the utmost security and integrity of medical files. By decentralizing storage and incorporating transparent transaction recording on the blockchain, Briefcase eliminates vulnerabilities associated with centralized systems and provides a resilient platform for medical file management. With its user-friendly interface and subscription model, Briefcase makes it easy for healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients to securely exchange and store medical data while supporting ongoing innovation and development in the field.
