Fixing Apothem Faucet confusion forever

Yes, this experience usually happens if you're the first time you want to interact with XDC whether you want to build sth for fun Or building sth meaningful on a fast and high-throughput network like XDC.

You simply search on google or ask chatgpt "xdc testnet faucet" or "apothem faucet", you'll see that it may suggest 2 websites:

First is https://faucet.apothem.network
then Second is https://faucet.blocksscan.io

Thanks to Blocksscan team, I'm not gonna cover the second link. and i'm focusing on the first one only.

A little bit more background:
XDC network supports two address prefixes xdc and 0x and according to this fact we have different set of RPC urls for instance:

erpc.xinfin.network: compatible with 0x
rpc.xinfin.network: compatible with xdc

Solution
There are multi ways to address this uncertainty for new builders on-chain and I'd like to leave the mic to the community to decide:

1- Enhancing the faucet page: by giving an option to users to select preferred prefix and then enter their own address accordingly. and informing users to be aware of this prefixes that there is no fear, you just need to select the right prefix tab. another important point is this page has gained a lot of scores in terms of SEO stuff

2- Deprecating the faucet page: there can be an option to deprecate the existing page and redirect all the users to Blocksscan url(Again thanks to the team). This way narrows down the options to one and increases UX.

Conclusion
XDC Network has achieved a dozen of tractions from Genesis and It keeps strongly moving forward to get the upcoming milestones. although every product and service regardless whether on-chain or web3, they need continues feedback to enhance their service better and easy to use.
