Update mulitple Plugin nodes in minutes!
The Plugin_Multinode_Tools have just been updated with an EXPERIMENTAL parallel-ssh script which allows simultaneous unattended OS updates and reboots of multiple Plugin nodes.
This is achieved by the usage of ssh key-based authentication together with the pssh linux package (parallel-ssh).
The script is freely available in the Plugin_Multinode_Tools repository on GitHub.
Description and operational information are included in the repo, along with the actual script.
The script will continue to be labelled as EXPERIMENTAL until it has been deployed in and proves to function reliably under many different circumstances.
Please feel free to read through and evaluate the script and to provide any feedback on desired features (or other XDC-projects that it or other Multinode Tools should be created for).
