If Etherium was to wanished away would that inpact the XDC token?

Some youtubers talks about how Etherium will be dissapering couse it would be classified as a security.

What i understand XDC is somehow connected to Etherium, built on Etheriums codebase.

So if Etherium was to wanished away would that affect the XDC token?
