Please help me. I have a similar problem. On 14 Nov 22 thought I would transfer some of my XDC on to web wallet so I created a wallet using XDC web wallet. Worst decision ever!
I saved seed and password. Did a test transaction. It was successful. Logged out.
Logged in again a few minutes later using my seed! The only explanation I have now is that when I logged in it led me through to a wallet even tho I realise now I probably typed the wrong password. Once logged in I transferred to 400002 XDC to this addres. It’s still sitting there. You can verify : xdc885C41e3bE9Eb1460BBd2eb50ecadfC69A04cC6d
I have tried various pwd combinations unsuccessfully! Even hired Team Offspec and they couldn’t help.
Atul, Ritesh, Quincy or anybody high up in Xinfin - how can a commercial enterprise grade blockchain allow somebody to progress to an incorrect wallet address after they input their correct seed but input mistyped password!!!!????
If somebody mistypes password for banking or email you have to try again. I’m so angry and regret using XDC web wallet! Can anybody help me?

Hello @devin_sanghavi_6da2fa1fc2 ,
I understand your concern about your lost funds. Rest assured, your funds are safe and still in your wallet. To regain access to your funds, follow the steps outlined in this article: xdc.dev/vinn_9686/importing-your-m...
Once you've imported your mnemonic seed phrase into the latest XDC Web Wallet beta version, you'll be able to manage your XDC and initiate transactions. Access the beta wallet here: betawallet.xinfin.network/
If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
Hello.
Thank you for your reply.
I tried the new wallet and also followed the steps in the article but no success.
I can prove the funds at the wallet address in original post are mine.
Perhaps you misunderstood what happened as I outlined in original post:
Any further help will be appreciated.
Please ensure that what you entered is not referred to as the 25th word, an extra word. If it is, it generates an entirely new set of addresses. If forgotten, there is no way to retrieve it. If this is an issue, it is not a problem with the XDC WEB Wallet. It is a feature that users choose to use for added security, also provided by MY ETHER WALLET. It seems that the XDC WEB Wallet beta version resembles a fork of MEW.
Is 'the password you entered' an extra word?
The password is not an extra word. Remember I set up this XDC wallet long before the new beta wallet was released. At that time I was asked for a password when setting up the wallet and that is what I did. Once the wallet was set up there was no way to proceed after entering the seed - in other words you had to input a password after you input the 12-word seed.
When you first created your wallet, the password you used is likely no longer needed. If you want to access your existing wallet address, you can recover it using the seed phrase. Leave the additional word slot at the bottom empty while proceeding, and you should be able to access the address you were using previously.
I have tried this and the wallet address I access does not hold the funds.
I did not make a mistake with address as I am familiar with the importance of having the correct address. As I said, the original XDC wallet required a password to proceed and so I set up a password. I have assumed when logging in again I mistyped my password and was still allowed to proceed . Because of this I used the address available to me not realising it was a different address from the one i used for the test transaction.
I have tried using the seed words and no password and it does not show me the funds.
Can anybody else help? Jay_blockscan?
Hello @devin_sanghavi_6da2fa1fc2,
Please note that, If you have entered a Password(Extra word), while creating your wallet then without entering Password for your Mnemonic/Seed phrase, you will not be able to access the same address. The password acts as an additional layer of security, ensuring that only authorized individuals can recover the wallet and its corresponding addresses.
