Hi Team,

Our XDC Apothem full node has stopped fetching blocks from 71,549,999. I restarted the Docker container, but the issue persists.

Wrapping Up 2024, Welcoming a Thrilling 2025! Reflecting on the Past, Building the Future.

📰 News Updates for December:-

🚀 Milestone Achieved: The Latest #Plugin Binary is Here!

We’re thrilled to announce a groundbreaking update in our journey! After months of rigorous effort, we’ve successfully built the latest #Plugin binary, marking a significant milestone in our development. This release brings a host of advancements, including extensive code modifications and three rounds of updates, optimizing over 28 GitHub packages for peak performance. With exciting new features like dynamic encoder selection for adaptable OCR consensus, comprehensive uint64 support for precise data handling, advanced string-to-capability mapping flexibility, a robust contract reader with MustEmbed constraints, and a versatile generic gRPC proxy for enhanced server capabilities, this update is designed to take Plugin’s technology to the next level.

✨Big News: #EquitEdge Reaches a New Milestone!

We’re excited to share that #EquitEdge has achieved a major breakthrough with the full implementation and testing of the ERC3643 standard on the #XDC network. This advancement enables the seamless minting of investment tokens while ensuring compliance with top-tier regulatory standards, including Singapore’s MAS and Europe’s ESMA. This integration underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering a secure, transparent, and compliant investment platform for our users.

💥 Data Feeds
We’re pleased to share that the Forex and Commodities categories on our Data Feeds Platform have been expanded with new additions. This update is part of our ongoing effort to provide more comprehensive and reliable data to support your trading and analysis. Thank you for being a part of our journey as we continue to improve and grow!. Explore the latest updates here: Data feeds Platform

⚛ Food for Thought

In the rapidly evolving world of Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN), Plugin plays a pivotal role by bridging the gap between real-world data and blockchain ecosystems. DePIN relies on trustless, tamper-proof, and reliable data to power decentralized applications. Plugin’s decentralized oracle network ensures this critical data is fetched, verified, and delivered on-chain, eliminating centralized points of failure. With its scalable architecture and real-time data feeds, Plugin enables informed decision-making for DePIN applications, while plugin's Verifiable Random Function (VRF) enhances fairness and transparency in resource allocation. By connecting physical infrastructure to blockchain with accuracy and efficiency, Plugin lays the foundation for a trusted DePIN ecosystem. As decentralized infrastructure grows, Plugin ensures the integrity and reliability of the data that powers it, making Plugin an indispensable cornerstone in the future of decentralized technologies.

🔎❓ Riddle
I bridge the gap where blockchains lack, Fetching truths from outside the track. With nodes spread wide, I cannot fall, Without a central point to call. I’m trusted, yet I’m hard to see, What am I in the blockchain spree?

Comment your answers below for a chance to get a shoutout in our next Newsletter edition!

Hi Team,
XDC apothem network was unstable last week and it is completely down from last two days.

Is there any alternate RPC that can be used ??
Thank you,
Need support to increase --rpc.txfeecap

Hi Team,
We are facing issues in our plugin vrf service(mainnet and testnet) due to increased gas fee during the transaction, but the rpc.txfeecap are by default set to 1 ether.

I have tried to increase the --rpc.txfeecap by setting it to 0(so there is no limitations) by using below command.

sudo docker exec -it testnet_xinfinnetwork_1 XDC --rpc.txfeecap 0

But I am prompted to specify etherbase explicitly

After creating a new account and explicitly specifying the ehterbase address the log stalls there for long time and without any success:

Would be great if we can get some direction on this.

Hi team,
I am trying to setup a apothem master node locally by following the docker installation.
The node was able to fetch blocks till #30,309,618 after this node has stopped fetching blocks(attached screenshot from https://apothem.network/#stats)

In the node logs I could see unknown ancestor error(as attached in the screenshot):

Hi Team,
To debug one scenario for Plugin Oracle, I've been observing network statistics for the Xinfin Mainnet at https://xinfin.network/#stats and noticed variations in block times, fluctuating between around 10 to 45 seconds.

I would appreciate it if someone could confirm if there has been a recent rise in block time and also the provided link is the accurate source for such information.?
