⚡ Plugin VRF v2.4 Migration Complete

One of Plugin’s most significant upgrades is now fully deployed across XDC Mainnet. The transition from VRF 2.0 to 2.4 includes enhanced security, greater throughput, and improved reliability.

Network Expansion
We are preparing to onboard 100 standby nodes to run DataFeed jobs, significantly strengthening Plugin’s decentralization roadmap. This expansion not only increases network resilience and distribution of load, but also opens the door for broader community participation in securing real-world data on-chain. The shortlisted standby operators will serve as the next layer of active feeders, ensuring higher uptime, redundancy, and long-term sustainability of the Plugin Oracle Network.

Prime Finance Feed
The Prime Finance price feed is now operating under a paid service model. Node operators running PRFI jobs will receive direct rewards from the flux aggregator contract, creating new earning opportunities. This marks an important step towards building, value-driven oracle services within the Plugin ecosystem.

AI-Powered Sentiment Analysis
As part of Plugin’s move toward intelligent, AI-enhanced oracles, we are introducing AI-powered sentiment analysis — a system designed to interpret real-time news, market activity, and social signals, and convert them into structured insights that enhance the quality and context of on-chain data. This is a key step in bringing smarter, context-aware intelligence to Plugin’s feeds and expanding beyond traditional price-only data. Our sentiment analysis engine is in final testing and will go live soon.

📢 Plugin at Web3 Builders Space by Victus Global
We would like to announce that our Plugin team recently participated in the Web3 Builders Space hosted by Victus Global, a forum focused on practical blockchain adoption and real-world use cases. XDC EVM on Plugin full node servers now supports Solidity 0.8.23! This upgrade brings enhanced security features, improved gas efficiency, and new language enhancements, empowering developers to build even more robust smart contracts on the XDCNetwork.

[WIP] Transactions Failed with the error (json: cannot unmarshal string into Go value)

Hi,

We are experiencing transaction failures when attempting to withdraw our PLI tokens from the Plugin nodes. We have tried using all available RPCs on the network and subsequently switched to the Ankr protocol RPC.

However, our transactions continue to fail with the following error message: "Reason: invalid argument 0: json: cannot unmarshal string into Go value of type ethapi.CallArgs".

Jurjees Ahamed one of our talented Full Stack Developers, represented Team Plugin (PLI), XDC’s Decentralized Oracle at the ETHDubai 2024 Hackathon and emerged as the winner! He impressed the judges with his innovative idea for TradeTez, which streamlines configuration setup and minimizes the need for developer assistance when creating an account on TradeTez. TradeTez SDK & API's enhance the creation of configuration files for Trade Documents by offering a user-friendly UI with social login, providing a web2 experience. An exclusive AMA session led by WeFi and Plugin 🌟where Ronald Mitchel Community Director Plugin and Lokesh Senior Blockchain Architect & Director Plugin were the speakers. The session was a great success. The event featured insightful questions and an interactive audience, showcasing the full potential of secure and scalable decentralized oracles. Plugin Node Reputation, was released to boost stability and trust within the Plugin Oracle Network. Effective February 16, 2024, Plugin Standby and Validator nodes are now subject to close monitoring to ensure their continuous active status. We're currently refining the reputation calculation algorithm based on valuable feedback received from the community and it will be live again. Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to advance our network capabilities.
The deadline for Migration of nodes from Plugin 1.0 to 2.0 is now crossed. We have stopped onboarding new nodes. That being said we are approving nodes of those members who had support requests open before the deadline. We appreciate your cooperation to enhance the stability and functionality of our network.
Soon we will have CIFI x PLI Liquidity Pool on Circularity Finance Platform. This groundbreaking partnership promises to revolutionize the DeFi space by offering DAOs a secure haven for their assets, along with real-time proof of reserve data feeds, courtesy of Plugin.
Team had the opportunity to showcase our latest innovations at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park. It was an incredible experience sharing our advancements with fellow innovators and enthusiasts. A special thank you to Sharjah RTI Park for graciously hosting us.
