DOPU Contract Migration: A New Chapter for Our Community

In response to our community's evolving needs and the strategic direction of our project, the DOPU community has made the important decision to migrate to a new contract. This transition aligns with our commitment to enhancing the contract's functionality and ensuring better long-term sustainability by incorporating additional features requested by centralized exchanges.

As a community member, your role in this transition is crucial. You must add the new contract address to your preferred wallet where your DOPU tokens are stored. Once added, you will notice that the same amount of new DOPU tokens have been minted and appear in your wallet. It’s important to note that the old contract will no longer be used moving forward.

For those who have contributed liquidity on Xswap DEX in either the V2 or V3 pools at 0.01% and 0.3%, we kindly ask that you remove your liquidity from these DOPU pools. This step is necessary as we prepare to transfer all liquidity from the old contract address pool to the new contract address pool.

Regarding timing, we request that trading be paused on 28-08-2024 between 11 AM CET and 1 PM CET. This will allow the DOPU team to safely and efficiently complete the migration of liquidity to the new contract address pool and deploy and migrate the balances to the new contract address.

Dcent Wallet Update: DOPU was recently added as a default token on the Dcent wallet. We will request that the Dcent wallet team update the new contract address as the default for DOPU.
Community Outreach: We also encourage all community members to help us by requesting CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko to update their records. Specifically, they should update the new contract address and pools under DOPU and remove the old contract address and pools.
