IceCreamSwap, a multichain Defi ecosystem supporting XDC and other. blockchains, has always been contributing to the growth and development of these chains and is launching a new blockchain explorer (https://xdcscan.net) for the XDC blockchain, together with a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service (https://rpc-xdc.icecreamswap.com).

Note: Blockchain scan/explorer serves as a public ledger that allows users to tap into and explore the database of all transactions on the blockchain in real-time. These transactions can range from token/nft minting, transfer, swap, bridging, staking, tax etc.

The major aim behind the launching of the XDC SCAN and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service by IceCreamSwap is to ensure a highly scalable and reliable server infrastructure on XDC network, and the integration of the popular 0x Ethereum address prefixes instead of the conventional XDC address prefixes.

The new IceCreamSwap RPC for XDC will help to maintain consistent uptime and fast response when users/projects interact with XDC blockchain in real time. The 0x address prefix will help developers while building and deploying their projects on the XDC. network, also existing projects on other chains can now easily migrate to the XDC blockchain seamlessly. On the other hand, users/investors using the 0x Ethereum type of wallet address will find it trivial to conduct/explore transactions on the XDC blockchain.

The XDC SCAN homepage shows the current $XDC price, $XDC market cap, Average. block time, Latest block, daily transactions, and the search address/transaction hash/block/token.

XDC Price: shows the current price equivalent of $XDC to USD in real-time. Daily transactions: displays a ledger of unique transactions confirmed within 24 hours.

Average block time: shows the average time taken in seconds to add a block on the XDC chain.

Total blocks: displays the total number of blocks approved/validated starting from the genesis block.

Wallet addresses: displays the total number of wallets holding the native $XDC token on chain.

Search bar: allows users to search and explore transactions by inputting either a wallet address, transaction hash, block number, or token name/symbol.

Tokens: displays all the tokens on the XCD blockchain (e.g. $ICE).

Searching and Exploring Transactions

To search/explore transactions using the new XDC scan.net is very simple, the search bar is just at the upper right of the page. Users can enter a wallet address, transaction hash, block number, or token name/symbol, this will display the whole on-chain transactions with all the details.

The transaction details are broken down to display the whole peer-2-peer on-chain activities that were carried out to ensure the execution of a successful transaction. These details include: transaction hash, result, status, sender/recipient wallet address, etc. With these users/investors are able to see the state of their transactions (successful or unsuccessful).

Note: The transactions can be exported in a CSV file.his is very. important for some users that are resident in countries that require such information for tax documentation.

In summary, the new XDC scan/explorer launched by IceCreamSwap shows real-time. blockchain transaction details, therefore users now have access to critical on-chain information and services without unnecessary delays.

As most Users/Investors don’t really Understand what Staking is all about, we decided to throw more light about staking on IceCreamSwap Dex.

What is Staking in cryptocurrency??
Staking is a type of service offered by Dexes that allows Users/investors to delegate/invest their token without pairing with other tokens and they also earn rewards by doing so. In-other words users allow their tokens to earn for them passively by staking them.
